Missing Library
If nanoCAD shows a missing library message, it can mean that database is not installed correctly on the computer and it should be reinstalled completely. Here is an instruction:
I) Remove nanoCAD from your computer
1. Uninstall nanoCAD 24 x64 in the list of programs
2. Delete program folders (nanoCAD 24) from:
- c:\Program Files\Nanosoft AS\
- c:\programdata\Nanosoft AS\
- c:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\Nanosoft AS\
3. Clear registry: run REGEDIT in Windows, find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Nanosoft AS section, delete and nanoCAD x64 sections.
II) Remove PostgreSQL from your computer
1. Uninstall PostgreSQL 12 in the list of programs
2. Delete the 12 folder from c:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\
3. Download and install the pgadmin utility: https://www.postgresql.org/ftp/pgadmin/pgadmin4/v6.15/windows/
4. Run PgAdmin. Open the list of databases, password: password
5. Delete databases:
- ncad_24_0_int,
- nmcsi24,
- nspdsi24.
III) Restart computer, download nanoCAD 24 from our website: https://nanocad.com/products/nanocad-platform/download/
Unzip installation file into empty folder. Install PostgreSQL from PreReqs.
Then run setup.exe to install nanoCAD.
